Preparation
- Read recipe. Wash hands and clean cook area. Get out pots, pans and required ingredients. Wash ingredients, as needed.
- With a grater, grate the peel of an orange to get the orange zest.
- Get out a large mixing bowl and an electric hand mixer.
Cooking
- Place all ingredients but eggs into mixing bowl (2 minutes)
Add ricotta cheese, sugar, flour, cinnamon, orange zest, vanilla,
and salt into a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time to the mixture (3 - 4 minutes)
Add one egg at a time to
the mixture and blend in. Repeat process until all eggs are added.
- Pre-heat oven to 400°F and place mixture into a baking pan (3 minutes)
Place mixture in a baking pan and pre-heat oven to 400°F.
- Place baking pan with mixture into oven (10 minutes) (400°F)
Place
the baking pan in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Turn heat down on oven (50 - 60 minutes) (200°F)
Turn down heat to
200°F and heat an additional 50 - 60 minutes.
- Remove and serve
Remove pan
from oven. Let cool and serve.
